The aim is to develop a Town Centre Vision to 2035 which attracts the types of investment and development that will meet the future needs and aspirations of the local communities and those that work in and visit the town.

The Town Centre Vision is likely to focus on a range of topics, including:

Arts and Culture

Civic and Social

Technology and Innovation

The process of developing the Vision:

STAGE 1: Consultation

Summer 2020

Discover what residents, businesses and Daventry Town Centre users see as its strengths and weaknesses, and the challenges and opportunities it faces.

STAGE 2: Consultation Findings Report

Autumn 2020

Draw up a range of ideas for how the town centre could move forward, in the light of what residents and businesses suggested.

STAGE 3: Preparing the Vision

Autumn / Winter 2020

A draft vision document will be prepared based on the consultation findings report.

STAGE 4: Consultation on the Vision (Current)

Autumn / Winter 2020

Consult with residents, businesses and Daventry Town Centre users on the draft Vision.

STAGE 5: Adoption & Implementation

Spring 2021

The Vision will be implemented over the period 2020 – 2035 and monitored throughout this time period.
